Once you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, add an egg, salt, freshly ground pepper, and finely chopped mint. These ingredients will not only enhance the flavor of the meatballs but will also add a touch of freshness. It is time to incorporate the breadcrumbs, heaping tablespoons, which will help firm up the mixture. If you want to improve the texture, you can beat the egg white until it becomes frothy and add it to the mixture, making the meatballs fluffier and airier.

Meanwhile, heat a large pan over medium to high heat and add oil, making sure it is about 1 cm high. It is essential that the oil is well heated to achieve an even and crispy frying.
