To prepare a delicious mayonnaise sauce, we will start by preparing the necessary ingredients. You will need a few peppers, preferably in various colors to add a touch of cheerfulness to your sauce. Choose red, yellow, and green peppers, as each of these will bring a unique flavor nuance. Additionally, green onions will add a fresh and crunchy note that will combine perfectly with the creamy texture of the mayonnaise.

We begin by washing the peppers and green onions well. After cleaning them, cut the peppers into small sticks, ensuring they are uniform to integrate well into the sauce. The green onions will be sliced into thin rounds, including the green part, which will provide an extra splash of color and flavor. Once you have finished chopping all the ingredients, set them aside.

In a large enough bowl, add the mayonnaise. This can be store-bought mayonnaise or, for a fresher and more authentic taste, you can choose to make it at home. If you opt for the homemade version, mix egg yolks with mustard, oil, and a splash of lemon juice until you achieve a smooth mixture. Now, it’s time to add the pepper. It is preferable to use freshly ground pepper to intensify the flavors.

After preparing the mayonnaise base, add the pepper sticks and sliced green onions. Mix everything with a spatula or a wooden spoon, being careful not to crush the ingredients but to gently incorporate them into the mayonnaise. You can adjust the amount of peppers and onions according to your personal taste, so that the sauce is to your liking.

I recommend letting the sauce sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving. This resting time will allow the flavors to develop and intertwine harmoniously, and the sauce will acquire a richer consistency and taste. The mayonnaise sauce with peppers and green onions is perfect for accompanying raw vegetables, chips, or even as a dressing for salads. Enjoy your meal!
