To prepare a delicious and juicy steak, choosing the Zepter pot is essential, as it allows us to preserve the flavors, vitamins, and nutrients, thus keeping the meat in its best form. We start by selecting a piece of high-quality meat, preferably pork or beef, which will become the star of this dish.

The first step in preparing the steak is to take care of seasoning. In a small bowl, we mix salt, pepper, dried sage, sweet paprika, and a few crushed garlic cloves. This mixture will provide the meat not only with flavor but also with an appetizing aroma. We rub the meat with this mixture, ensuring that every corner is evenly coated so that the flavors penetrate well into the meat strips.

After we finish seasoning, we place the meat in the Zepter pot and add water up to 1/3 of the height of the meat. It is important not to exceed this level to avoid diluting the flavors. We cover the pot with its special lid, which helps maintain the temperature and evenly distribute the heat. We place the pot on an asbestos board, setting the flame to the lowest intensity. This slow cooking process will allow the meat to become extremely tender.

As time passes, we will look at the indicator needle on the pot. When it reaches the red marked area, we know it’s time to turn off the heat. We let the pot cool naturally, so we do not open the lid immediately. We wait for the needle to drop into the green section, which indicates that the steak is ready. This step is crucial, as the meat continues to cook and tenderize even after we have turned off the heat.

Once the needle has stabilized in the green section, we carefully open the lid and enjoy the intoxicating aroma that greets us. The meat should be juicy, tender, and full of flavor. We can serve it alongside simple side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or mashed potatoes, to let the steak shine. This recipe will not only impress your guests but will also become a favorite in your family.
