Honey chicken wings
I thawed the chicken wings and set the other ingredients aside for a photo (the grated ginger is in the jar). In the first step, I mixed something that is called marinade in the cookbook, made from a delicious combination of soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, and grated ginger. This marinade will give an intense and aromatic flavor to the chicken wings, turning them into a real delicacy.
After the wings were completely thawed, I washed them well under a stream of cold water and dried them with a kitchen towel to remove excess water. Then, I placed the wings in a large bowl and poured the previously prepared marinade over them. I gently mixed, making sure that each piece of chicken was well coated with this aromatic mixture. It is important to let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes, but if you have time, you can also leave them overnight in the fridge; this way, the flavors will penetrate more deeply.
After marinating, I preheated the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, preparing a tray that I covered with aluminum foil to facilitate later cleaning. I carefully arranged the chicken wings in the tray, making sure they did not overlap, so they would bake evenly. On top, I drizzled a little olive oil and sprinkled salt and pepper to taste.
The tray went into the oven for about 30 minutes. After this interval, I took the tray out and flipped the wings to the other side, letting them brown nicely. I continued baking for another 20-25 minutes, until the wings turned golden and crispy, and the aroma wafting through the kitchen was simply irresistible.
To serve them, I prepared a simple side of grilled vegetables, such as zucchini and bell peppers, which I drizzled with a little olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. This combination of glazed chicken wings and grilled vegetables is perfect for a delicious meal, full of flavor and color. Don’t forget to have a yogurt sauce with dill or a spicy sauce on hand to further enhance the dish's flavor. Enjoy your meal!
