Plum Pie
To make a delicious plum pie, start by preparing the necessary ingredients. You need 500 g of flour, 25 g of fresh yeast, 250 ml of lukewarm milk, 100 g of sugar, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 50 ml of oil. These ingredients combine to form a soft and fluffy dough, perfect for holding the plum filling.
In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk, being careful not to make it too hot, as excessive heat can kill the yeast. Mix well until the yeast is completely dissolved. This step is essential to activate the yeast and allow the dough to rise beautifully.
In a large bowl, sift the flour to aerate it and remove any impurities. Create a well in the center of the flour and pour in the milk-yeast mixture. Add the sugar, egg, salt, and oil gradually, mixing with a spatula or your hands. Knead the dough well until it becomes elastic and pulls away easily from your hands.
