To prepare a delicious stuffed mushroom recipe, we will start by carefully cleaning and washing the fresh mushrooms. It is important to gently remove the stems, which we will chop finely to add to the filling. After cleaning the mushroom caps, we sprinkle them with salt and set them aside to enhance their flavor.

We continue by dicing the onion and bell pepper into small cubes, and we also cut the ham into cubes, so that all the ingredients combine perfectly. Additionally, grating the cheese will provide a creamy texture and a savory taste that will melt on top of the mushrooms.

In a skillet, we heat the butter over medium heat. Once the butter has completely melted, we add the onion and sauté it for a few minutes until it becomes translucent and starts to soften. This will form the flavorful base of the filling. Next, we add the bell pepper to the skillet and sauté it together with the onion for 1-2 minutes until it becomes slightly soft.

Now it is time to add the chopped mushrooms and finally the ham. We let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. We taste and season with salt and pepper to our liking, and at the end, we add chopped dill, which will provide an extra freshness and aroma.

Now we prepare a heat-resistant dish in which we place the mushroom caps, generously filling them with the cooked mixture. On top, we sprinkle the grated cheese, which will gratin and create a delicious crust during baking. We preheat the oven to a medium temperature and place the dish inside, allowing it to bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is golden and melted.

After the time has expired, we carefully remove the dish from the oven and, for a final touch, sprinkle a little fresh dill on top for an attractive appearance and refreshing taste. Serve the stuffed mushrooms warm, alongside a fresh salad or as an appetizer at a festive meal. Enjoy your meal!
