If you want a simple dessert with a special taste, biscuit salami is the perfect choice. This classic Romanian recipe combines crunchy textures and sweet flavors, quickly becoming a family favorite. Whether you serve it at a party or as a personal treat, this quick dessert will bring a smile to your face. Let's get started!

Ingredients:

- 500 g biscuits (preferably cocoa biscuits for a more intense flavor)
- 300 ml milk
- 100 ml water
- 1 pack (about 200 g) butter (at room temperature)
- 3-4 tablespoons cocoa (you can adjust to taste)
- 6 tablespoons sugar (you can also use brown sugar for a caramelized taste)
- 150 g raisins (you can soak the raisins in rum for extra flavor)
- 100 g nuts (chopped or coarsely ground)
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 1 essence of vanilla (optional, for a richer taste)
- 1 essence of lemon (adds a fresh accent)

Instructions:

1. Crumbling the biscuits: Start by crumbling the biscuits in a food processor or placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. It is important to achieve a mix of small pieces, but not powder. This step will create a good base for the salami.

2. Preparing the mixture: In a medium saucepan, add the milk, water, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then add the cocoa and mix well with a whisk to avoid lumps.

3. Melting the butter: After the cocoa is well combined, add the butter cut into cubes. Continue to stir until the butter completely melts and the mixture becomes homogeneous. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.

4. Combining the ingredients: In a large bowl, add the crumbled biscuits, raisins, and nuts. Pour the warm cocoa mixture over these ingredients and mix well with a spatula or your hands (wearing gloves if you wish). Make sure the biscuits are well coated in chocolate.

5. Shaping the salami: Once all the ingredients are well incorporated, take a sheet of aluminum foil and place the mixture in the center. Twist the ends of the foil, forming a cylinder. Try to achieve an even shape so that it cools and hardens well.

6. Chilling: Place the biscuit salami in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. It will firm up and be easier to cut.

Serving suggestions: Once it has hardened, unwrap the foil and cut the biscuit salami into slices. You can sprinkle it with powdered sugar or cocoa for a more attractive appearance. Serve it alongside a cup of coffee or tea for a moment of indulgence.

Possible variations: You can add spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for a more intense flavor. You can also replace the nuts with hazelnuts or almonds, depending on your preferences. Raisins can be replaced with dried fruits or chopped dark chocolate.

This biscuit salami is not only a tasty dessert but also a recipe that brings the family together around the table. I encourage you to try this recipe and discover the joy of making a classic, always appreciated dessert!
