The walnut and chocolate cream crown is a special delicacy that combines tradition with modern flavor, making it an ideal choice for the Christmas table. This recipe, with rich layers of chocolate and crunchy walnuts, will transform any festive meal into a true feast. Making the sweet bread requires a little time and patience, but the final result will definitely be worth the effort.

To start, you will need the following ingredients: 500 g of flour, 200 ml of warm milk, 100 g of sugar, 3 eggs, 50 ml of oil, 25 g of fresh yeast, a pinch of salt, 200 g of ground walnuts, and 150 g of dark chocolate. These ingredients will be combined to create a fluffy and aromatic dough, full of flavor.

Start by dissolving the yeast in the warm milk, adding a teaspoon of sugar and letting the mixture sit for about 10 minutes until a foam forms. In a large bowl, combine the flour with the sugar and a pinch of salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs, oil, and yeast mixture. Knead the dough for 10-15 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth. Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rise in a warm place for an hour or until it doubles in volume.

Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate cream. Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave, being careful not to burn it. Once melted, let it cool slightly, then incorporate the ground walnuts, mixing well to achieve a homogeneous composition.

After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface, forming a rectangle. Spread the chocolate cream over the dough, leaving a small margin around. Roll the dough tightly, then form a crown by joining the ends. Place the walnut crown in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it rise again for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake the crown for 25-30 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Once cooled, you can decorate the sweet bread with whole walnuts, melted chocolate, or powdered sugar, as preferred. This walnut and chocolate cream crown will not only look spectacular on the holiday table, but it will also delight the taste buds of all guests. Enjoy each slice with your loved ones and revel in the magic of Christmas!

This crown with nuts and chocolate cream is another form of delicious sweet bread perfect for Christmas. It starts with the dough. A leaven is made: the yeast is liquefied with a teaspoon of sugar, then half of the warm milk and two tablespoons of flour are added and left to rise for about 10 minutes. The eggs are mixed with the rest of the sugar. The flour is mixed with the pudding powder. After the leaven has risen, all the ingredients are mixed and kneaded. Finally, melted and cooled butter is added. The result is a smooth and elastic dough that is left to rise for about an hour. While the dough is rising for an hour, the filling is prepared: the butter is mixed with the sugar and egg until well creamed. Flour mixed with cocoa and almond powder is added. It is rolled (20 cm long) in plastic wrap and placed in the freezer to harden. Then it is taken out, cut into 20 pieces, which are rolled into balls. In a bundt cake pan, the halves of the nuts are placed at the bottom, then the maple syrup + melted butter (2 tablespoons) are poured in. In a plate, the sugar is mixed with cinnamon. The risen dough is divided into 20 balls, which are left to rest for 10 minutes. Each dough ball is rolled out a little circularly, a ball of cream is placed... which is then covered with the dough. Some butter is melted in a small pot. Each ball is brushed halfway with melted butter, then rolled in sugar + cinnamon and placed with the rolled side up in the pan over the nuts + maple syrup. 10 balls prepared this way are placed in the first row, then the other 10 balls are interspersed among those already placed in the pan, forming the second row. The remaining sugar + cinnamon are sprinkled, and the melted butter is drizzled on top. It is left to rise (covered) for about 30 minutes. The oven is preheated to 200°C. The pan is placed in the oven and the crown is baked for 10 minutes at 200°C, then the temperature is reduced to 180°C. It is left to bake for about 20-25 minutes. After being taken out of the oven, it is left for 1 minute, then turned out onto a plate. The crown can be decorated with fruits according to the liking and traditions of the household! The Christmas crown with nuts and chocolate cream is served after it has cooled on the Christmas table. Recipe proposed by Daneza 13 Enjoy your meal!
