Chocolate Chip Cookies
To prepare the most delicious chocolate cookies, start by gathering all the necessary ingredients. In our recipe, we used a delightful mix of 200 g chocolate chips and 125 g chocolate chunks. These will add a rich flavor and a crunchy texture to your cookies. First, preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius, so it is ready when the cookie mixture is complete.
Line a large baking tray with parchment paper to prevent the cookies from sticking and to facilitate later cleaning. In a bowl, mix the flour with baking soda, then add the chocolate chips and chunks to this dry mixture. These ingredients will form the base of your cookies.
In another bowl, combine brown sugar with granulated sugar. Add the melted butter, but let it cool slightly, and mix the composition vigorously. This process will bring a creaminess and a special sweetness to the cookies. Then, in a separate bowl, mix a cold egg together with a cold yolk and vanilla essence until the mixture becomes creamy and frothy, filling it with pleasant aromas.
Now is the time to combine the two mixtures. Carefully incorporate the sugar and butter mixture into the egg mixture, then gradually add the dry flour and chocolate mixture. Gently mix until you achieve a homogeneous composition. Using a 60 ml round ice cream scoop, take small amounts of dough and place them on the prepared tray, leaving about 8 cm of space between them to allow for expansion.
The cookies should be baked in the preheated oven for 15-17 minutes, or until they become slightly golden on the surface. During this time, you can keep the remaining mixture in the refrigerator to keep the dough cold. Once the cookies are baked, let them cool on the tray for about 5 minutes, so they can stabilize. Although they will seem soft immediately after you take them out of the oven, they will hold their shape after a few minutes.
To keep them fresh, store the cookies in a well-sealed tin. They can be enjoyed for 3-5 days, and their delicious aroma will make you want to repeat the recipe again. Enjoy every bite and savor the moment!
