Biscuit salam recipe
To prepare a delicious biscuit salami, we start by heating a pan in which we add margarine, milk, and chocolate. It is essential to continuously mix these ingredients over medium heat, ensuring that the chocolate melts evenly and does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Once the chocolate has completely melted and the mixture becomes homogeneous, we can add cocoa, carefully mixing to avoid lumps. The cocoa will provide an intense chocolate flavor, so make sure it is well incorporated.
After the mixture is well homogenized, we add rum essence, which will bring a special aroma and enrich the taste of our dessert. The combination of rum aroma with chocolate will turn this biscuit salami into a true delight. At this point, we prepare the biscuits. We break them by hand into smaller pieces, without using a knife, to keep the rustic texture. The broken biscuits will perfectly absorb the warm mixture.
We pour the hot mixture over the broken biscuits and mix everything with a spatula or a wooden spoon, making sure that each piece of biscuit is well covered with chocolate. Once the mixture is uniform, we start forming the rolls. We take a sheet of aluminum foil and place the mixture on it, shaping it into a roll. We wrap it tightly, being careful not to leave air between the foil and the mixture, and then roll it to obtain a uniform shape. From this mixture, I get about two medium rolls, but the size may vary depending on preferences.
After we finish shaping the rolls, we place them in the refrigerator to cool. It is recommended to let them chill for at least 5 hours, but if you have patience, leave them overnight to harden perfectly. After they have cooled, cut the rolls into thick slices and enjoy them with a cup of coffee or tea. This biscuit salami is perfect for serving on special occasions or simply as a delicious dessert after a hearty meal. The flavors will intensify and bring a touch of joy to each slice. Enjoy your meal!
