Zucchini drob is a delicacy that brings a touch of freshness and health to every meal. We start by preparing the necessary ingredients and ensuring we have everything we need at hand. The first step is to peel the zucchinis, then pass them through a meat grinder. This method will help achieve a fine texture, essential for the drob. After chopping the zucchinis, we let them drain in a colander to remove excess water, which will help us obtain a more consistent drob.

While the zucchinis are draining, we take care of the onion and greens. The slices of bread can be soaked in water or milk to make them easier to mix with the other ingredients. The carrot, peeled and washed, is grated on a large grater, and the bell pepper is diced, adding color and taste.

We add all these ingredients to a large bowl and mix them well. The lightly beaten eggs will bind the mixture, and salt and pepper are added to taste, ensuring that the drob will be tasty. It is important to taste the mixture before putting it in the tray to ensure the flavors are well balanced.

Now we prepare the tray or heat-resistant dish, which we grease with oil to prevent sticking. We then line it with breadcrumbs or cornflakes, which will add a crunchy texture to the exterior of the drob. We pour the zucchini mixture into the tray, smoothing the surface well. For a pleasant appearance and a delicious crust, we sprinkle an additional layer of breadcrumbs on top.

With the oven preheated, we place the tray inside and let the drob bake at medium to low heat for about 45-50 minutes, or until it becomes nicely browned and firm to the touch. It is good to check occasionally to ensure it bakes evenly. Once the drob is ready, we let it cool slightly before slicing. It can be served warm or cold, making it an excellent choice for both everyday meals and festive occasions.
