Burgers are an excellent choice for a delicious meal, full of flavors and textures. We start by preparing the minced meat, choosing high-quality meat, preferably a mix of beef and pork, to achieve a juicy and flavorful burger. In a generous bowl, we mix the minced meat with salt, freshly ground pepper, a tablespoon of flavored mustard, and a fresh egg, which will help bind the ingredients together. We add a few finely chopped fresh thyme leaves to provide an unmistakable aroma.

Onion, peeled and finely chopped, is an essential ingredient, bringing a touch of sweetness to the burger. Together with fresh dill, finely chopped, the onion will perfectly complement the meat mixture. After integrating all the ingredients, we cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes. This step is crucial as it allows the flavors to meld and helps the meat maintain its shape.

After letting the mixture rest, we divide the meat into three equal parts. From each portion, we form a patty, carefully flattening it to achieve a round and even shape. We prepare a grill pan over medium heat, lightly greasing it with oil, and add the burgers, browning them on both sides until they become golden and crusted with an appetizing crust.

Meanwhile, we wash the tomatoes and slice them thinly, preparing them for assembly. We prepare a tray with parchment paper, where we place the browned burgers. On top of each burger, we add a slice of delicious mozzarella, a slice of fresh tomato, and then another slice of mozzarella, so that it melts in the oven and provides a creamy texture.

We preheat the oven to a suitable temperature and place the tray with the burgers for 3-5 minutes, just enough for the mozzarella to melt and the flavors to combine. When we notice that the cheese has melted, we take the burgers out of the oven. The buns, fresh and fluffy, are sliced in half, spreading the bottom with a tablespoon of mustard, which will add a spicy note. We assemble the burgers, carefully placing one burger on each bun and putting the top on. We serve immediately, warm, alongside fries or a fresh salad for an unforgettable culinary experience!
