To prepare this delicious recipe, we start by ensuring that all the ingredients are ready at hand. The first step is to take the butter out of the fridge a few hours before cooking, so it becomes soft and easy to mix. In a bowl, add one whole egg and the soft butter, then mix well with a fork. It is important to achieve a homogeneous mixture, and the butter should be completely incorporated into the egg. Then, gradually add the flour, continuing to mix with the fork until the dough becomes easy to shape.

Once we have obtained a homogeneous mixture, we prepare to form dumplings. Using a teaspoon, take portions of the dough and place them in a pot of boiling water. This water should be salted, so we add a teaspoon of salt to it. The dumplings will form in a ratio of 15-20 from a single egg, depending on their size. We let the dumplings boil covered for 10 minutes, until they become soft and fluffy. Once they are ready, we remove them with a slotted spoon and set them aside.

While the dumplings are boiling, we take care of the sauce that will accompany this dish. Chop the onion finely and sauté it in a pan with hot oil for about 2 minutes, until it becomes translucent and loses some of its water. Then add the sweet paprika, stirring quickly to prevent it from burning, and immediately after that, the meat cut into small pieces. Sprinkle a little salt and mix constantly until the meat changes color and coagulates on the surface.

Once the meat is almost cooked, cover the pan with a lid and let it brown, adding a little water to prevent sticking. Then, add the sliced peppers and tomatoes, minced garlic, a little pepper, and freshly chopped parsley. Pour in enough water to form a thin sauce that will bind all the flavors together. Finally, taste the sauce and adjust it with salt, to your preference.

After the sauce has been prepared, transfer the pan to a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and let everything bake for 15 minutes. This step will intensify the flavors and allow the ingredients to blend perfectly. When the sauce is ready, take the dumplings and add them to the pan, stirring gently to coat them with the sauce. The dumplings absorb the delicious flavors of the sauce and become an essential part of the dish. Serve warm, enjoying a savory dish full of taste and texture.
