To prepare a delicious fish recipe with creamy cheese sauce and hard-boiled eggs, we will start by boiling the eggs. Place the eggs in a pot of salted water and let them boil for about 10-12 minutes until they become hard. After boiling, remove them from the water, let them cool slightly, then peel and dice them. They will add a pleasant texture and rich flavor to our dish, so set them aside until needed.

Next, we will prepare the fish fillets. Choose fresh fillets such as salmon, cod, or trout, and wash them well under cold water. After drying them with a paper towel, season both sides with salt and pepper. Place the fillets in a greased baking dish that you have previously buttered to prevent sticking and to add extra flavor.

Now, let's take care of the creamy sauce. In a pan, melt a little butter over medium heat and add the flour, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Let the flour cook for a few minutes until it becomes slightly golden, then extinguish with milk. Continue stirring over low heat until the sauce becomes smooth and begins to thicken. Now is the time to incorporate the diced eggs, an extra tablespoon of butter, a pinch of nutmeg, and the grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper, then let the sauce cook on low heat for another 2 minutes, stirring continuously until the cheese completely melts and the sauce becomes velvety.

Pour this delicious sauce over the fish fillets in the baking dish, making sure to cover them evenly. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius and place the dish inside for about 20 minutes. Halfway through, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle an additional layer of grated cheese on top to achieve a nicely golden crust.

When the fish is cooked and the sauce is nicely browned, take the dish out of the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This dish is served warm, sprinkled with finely chopped fresh parsley to add a fresh and vibrant touch. It can be accompanied by a crunchy raw salad or a side of potatoes or rice to complete the meal. This recipe is not only tasty but also nutritious, ideal for a family dinner or to impress guests.
