Smoked Ribs with Baked Potatoes
Smoked ribs are a culinary delight that brings an intense flavor and a special aroma, perfect for any family meal or special occasion. I love to prepare them alongside baked potatoes, and for an extra touch of flavor, I also add a bit of grated cheese at the end. This recipe is simple but full of flavor and textures that combine perfectly.
To start, prepare a tray where you will place the ribs. Add a thin layer of oil, about 1-2 cups, to prevent sticking and add extra taste. Then, take the carrot and slice it thinly, while the peeled potatoes can be cut into cubes. It is important that the vegetables are cut evenly so that they cook uniformly and release their flavors.
Sprinkle your favorite spices over the ribs and vegetables. I use salt, ground black pepper, oregano, sweet paprika, and rosemary, but you can adapt the recipe according to your preferences. The spices will give a special flavor to the meat and vegetables, turning the dish into a real delicacy.
After adding the spices, pour a glass of white wine, which will help tenderize the meat and enhance the flavors. Then, fill with water to cover all the ingredients well, about 3-4 cups. Covering with water will allow the ribs to cook evenly and absorb all the flavors.
Place the tray in a preheated oven at medium heat and let it bake for 45-50 minutes. It is important to check from time to time to ensure that it does not dry out. When the ribs are browned and tender, remove the tray from the oven and place the ribs on a platter. Finally, generously sprinkle grated cheese, which will melt slightly due to the heat of the dish.
For an attractive presentation, decorate with slices of fresh tomatoes and basil, which will add not only a pleasant look but also a fresh taste. This dish is perfect served alongside a green salad or pickles to contrast with the richness of the rib flavors.
This recipe is ideal for 4 servings, but you can adjust the ingredients according to your needs. Enjoy your meal! If you liked my recipe, don't hesitate to find it on my blog, where many other culinary delights await you!
