To prepare a delicious cake with biscuit layers and fine cream, we will start with the necessary ingredients. We need 6 egg yolks, 200 g of sugar, 100 ml of oil, 200 ml of milk, 300 g of crushed biscuits (or oatmeal flakes, according to preference) and vanilla essence. These ingredients will form the base of the cake layers.

In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks well with the sugar until the mixture becomes a fluffy, light-colored cream. It is important to use a spatula or a whisk to achieve an airy texture. Then, gradually add the oil, continuously mixing to incorporate the ingredient well. After the oil is completely absorbed, pour in the milk and vanilla essence, continuing to mix. Finally, add the crushed biscuits (or oatmeal flakes) and mix until you obtain a homogeneous composition. Divide the mixture into four equal parts and let it rest for 30 minutes. This step is essential to allow the ingredients to blend perfectly.

After this period, beat the 6 egg whites until stiff. It is important not to add sugar at this point, as we want a pure and light foam. Gently fold the egg whites into the above mixture, mixing with a spatula from bottom to top to maintain aeration.

Line a 26-28 cm diameter cake pan with baking paper. Pour one part of the layer mixture into the pan and level it with a spatula. Place the pan in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the layer takes on a golden hue. Repeat this process for the other three parts of the mixture.

For the cake cream, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar in another bowl. Add a pinch of salt and flour, mixing well. Start adding the milk gradually, ensuring that no lumps form. Place the mixture to boil in a bain-marie, stirring continuously for 15-20 minutes until it thickens well. Let the cream cool completely.

Meanwhile, beat the egg whites until stiff, then add the powdered vanilla sugar and vanilla sugar, continuing to beat until you obtain a glossy foam. After the cream has cooled, carefully fold in the beaten egg whites, mixing from bottom to top.

Now, it's time to assemble the cake! Place the first layer on a platter, spread it with fruit jam, then add a layer of cream. Repeat the process with the other layers, finishing with cream on the last layer. For an impressive decoration, melt chocolate in a bain-marie together with a little butter and pour it over the cake, letting your imagination run free to create an attractive design. The cake will be not only a delight for the taste buds but also a visual feast!
