Use a mixer to vigorously mix the mixture, starting on low speed and gradually increasing to full speed. This step is crucial to incorporate air into the batter, which will help the cake rise during baking. Finally, incorporate the melted butter and frosting, mixing gently but effectively to obtain a smooth mixture.
