To prepare a delicious meat and vegetable recipe, we start by thoroughly washing the pork, ensuring we remove any impurities. After rinsing the meat, we pat it dry with a paper towel to remove as much moisture as possible. Then, we cut the meat into cubes of about 2-3 cm, so that it cooks evenly.

In a large pot, we heat some lard. When the lard is well heated, we add the meat cubes and let them brown on all sides until they become golden and develop a tasty crust. The browning process is essential as it will add depth and flavor to the dish.

Once the meat has taken on a nice color, we add the finely chopped onion. We stir and let the onion sauté with the meat for 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent and releases its aroma. Then, we add the diced bell pepper and the grated or sliced carrot, mixing the ingredients well. We sauté them together for a few minutes to allow their flavors to develop.

After the vegetables have softened, we pour 2 cups of water into the pot and cover it with a lid, allowing it to simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes. It is important to periodically check the water level and add hot water if necessary to prevent the food from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

When the meat is almost cooked and becomes tender, we add the potatoes cut into larger pieces, the pepper paste, our favorite spices, and the bay leaf. Don't forget to adjust the taste with salt to enhance the flavors.

After mixing the ingredients well, we place the pot in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes. This step will allow the flavors to blend and will provide a delicious texture. Finally, when the dish is ready, we add the chopped dill, which will bring a fresh and fragrant note.
