To prepare a delicious and comforting dessert, I started by preparing the dough, which I carefully placed in the baking tray. I scored it into pieces, which will make it much easier to break after it has been baked, without crumbling. Once the dough was baked and cooled, I broke it into generous portions and carefully placed it in the tray, preparing it for the next stage of the recipe.

In a saucepan, I measured 100 ml of heavy cream, which I whipped vigorously until it became fluffy and airy. In another saucepan, I combined the milk with the remaining heavy cream and added sugar. I heated the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes, until it became hot but did not start to boil. This step is essential to allow the sugar to dissolve completely and the flavor to intensify.

Once I obtained a homogeneous mixture, I added raisins and pistachios, as well as other optional ingredients to taste, such as coconut flakes, hazelnuts, or almonds. On top, I sprinkled a dash of cinnamon, which will add a warm and aromatic note to the dessert. I carefully poured the hot milk over the dough in the prepared tray, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly. Then, here and there, I placed dollops of whipped cream, which will create a creamy and fluffy texture.

I placed the tray in the preheated oven at 180°C and baked the dessert for about 20 minutes, until it was beautifully browned on top. It is important to check it from time to time, as each oven may have temperature variations. Once it was baked, I took it out of the oven and let it cool slightly for easier handling.

The dessert can be served both warm and cold, depending on everyone's preferences. I garnished it on top with ground pistachios and a few extra-large raisins, which are not mandatory but add a nice appearance and extra texture. This dessert is perfect for any occasion, offering a delicious combination of flavors and textures that will delight the taste buds. Enjoy!
