To create a refined and delicious dessert that will impress anyone, we will prepare a panna cotta with strawberry jelly. This classic Italian dessert is perfect for any occasion, and the combination of creamy and fruity textures will delight the taste buds.

We start by preparing all the necessary ingredients. Fresh strawberries are carefully washed under a stream of cold water, then the stems are removed. It is important to use quality strawberries, as their flavor will significantly influence the final taste of the dessert. The gelatin sheets are essential for achieving the desired consistency; they are placed in a bowl of cold water and left to soak for 10-15 minutes according to the package instructions.

Meanwhile, we begin to prepare the panna cotta. Heat 100 ml of cream over low heat, being careful not to let it reach boiling point, just warm it up. Once the gelatin has hydrated, drain the sheets well and add them to the warm cream. Stir with a wooden spoon until the gelatin completely dissolves and the mixture becomes homogeneous.

In a separate pot, add 400 ml of cream, 10-20 g of sugar (depending on how sweet you prefer the dessert), and vanilla essence. This mixture is placed over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until it reaches boiling point. Once the mixture starts to boil, remove the pot from the heat. Then, add the 100 ml of cream in which the gelatin has dissolved and mix well until fully integrated. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

Now we turn our attention to the strawberry jelly. Gelatin (10 g) is placed in 100 ml of cold water, mixed, and left to hydrate for 10 minutes. Subsequently, the gelatin is placed over low heat, stirring continuously, and periodically removed from the flame to avoid boiling, which would destroy the gelatin.

The cleaned strawberries are placed in a blender, along with the sugar and lemon juice. Everything is blended until a fine puree is obtained. Then, gradually add the melted gelatin and mix well to obtain a homogeneous compound.

To assemble the dessert, pour a layer of panna cotta into each prepared mold. The molds are placed in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, during which time the panna cotta will slightly set, allowing the addition of the strawberry jelly without the two layers mixing. The process is repeated, alternating between layers of panna cotta and jelly, according to preference.

Once the dessert is fully assembled, it is essential to keep it in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours, covered with protective film, to set properly. Before serving, fresh strawberry pieces can be added as decoration, to add a touch of color and freshness. Thus, we obtain an elegant dessert, full of flavor, perfect for enjoying in the company of loved ones.
