To prepare a delicious and refined dessert, we start by separating the egg whites from the yolks. It is essential to ensure that the bowls are completely clean, as any trace of fat can prevent the egg whites from whipping well. So, after separating the two components, we take a mixer and start beating the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar until we obtain a creamy and fluffy mixture. Here, we add melted butter or margarine, which will provide a rich flavor to the dough.

After we have well integrated the ingredients, we move on to the next step: we start gradually adding the flour and baking powder, mixing with a spatula or with the mixer at low speed to avoid lumps. At this point, beat the egg whites until you get a firm foam. It is important to carefully incorporate them into the yolk mixture using a spatula, to preserve the air in the egg whites and achieve a fluffy cake base.

We divide the obtained dough into two equal parts. In one part, we add the hazelnut cream, mixing gently to obtain a uniform composition. In the other part, we leave the plain dough without any additions. We prepare a baking tray, which we line with baking paper, and carefully pour the white mixture, leveling it with a spatula. Then, we carefully add the colored mixture on top, thus creating a pleasant visual effect. We place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the cake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and passes the toothpick test.

In the meantime, we take care of the cream that will complete this dessert. In a bowl, we mix all the cream ingredients with the mixer until we obtain a fine and creamy texture. It is recommended to let the cream chill, so it thickens a bit while the cake cools. If we have time, we can also whip the liquid cream, which will add an element of refinement and make the dessert even more appealing.

After the cake is completely cooled, we evenly add the cream, and on top, we patiently pour the jelly prepared according to the package instructions, using the compote juice for a more intense flavor. If you prefer a sweeter dessert, feel free to add 1-2 tablespoons of powdered sugar to the mixture. Finally, we decorate the dessert with whipped cream, creating an appetizing and elegant appearance. So, enjoy this delicious cake, which will surely impress everyone who tastes it!

 Ingredients: For the base you need: -125 g butter or margarine, -100 g powdered sugar, -3 packets of vanilla sugar, -1/2 baking powder, -2-3 tablespoons of Nutella hazelnut cream, -cherries from a 0.750 g jar of compote (without pits). For the cream: -250 g cow cheese (you can also use Philadelphia if you have it!) -1 packet of vanilla sugar. -1 packet of whipped cream powder, -150 ml milk. Decoration: -1 packet of red jelly for cake -250 ml juice from the cherry compote, -a box of liquid whipped cream, -grated chocolate, -cherry berries.
