We start preparing a delicious brownie recipe, a simple yet extremely tasty dessert. The first step is to preheat the oven to 176 degrees Celsius, ensuring we achieve even baking. In a medium-sized saucepan, we will add the chocolate cut or broken into small pieces, along with the butter. These ingredients will be melted together over low heat. It is essential to be attentive, stirring constantly to prevent the chocolate from burning. Once the chocolate and butter have melted and completely combined, we remove the saucepan from the flame and continue to stir until we achieve a smooth and glossy mixture.

The next step is to add the granulated sugar, mixing well to ensure it completely dissolves in our creamy mixture. After the sugar has been incorporated, we will add the eggs, one at a time. It is important to mix vigorously after each egg added, so we achieve a homogeneous and airy texture. Once we finish adding the eggs, we take care of the dry ingredients.

In a separate bowl, we combine the flour, vanilla, and salt, then gradually add them to the wet mixture. We mix well, ensuring there are no lumps and that the flour is completely incorporated. Once our mixture is homogeneous, we turn our attention to the baking pan. I used a pan measuring 27 cm x 27 cm, with a depth of 2 cm. We line it with parchment paper or grease it with butter and sprinkle a little flour to prevent sticking.

We pour the brownie mixture into the pan, leveling the surface with a spatula. Then, we place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. It is important not to overbake the brownies, as we want to achieve a soft and moist texture inside. After the baking time has expired, we take the pan out of the oven and let the brownies cool completely before cutting them into squares.

Once cooled, we can decorate them with powdered sugar mixed with a few drops of lemon juice for a pleasant taste contrast. The original recipe suggests using melted white chocolate, which can add an interesting and sweet note to the dish. Regardless of the choice made, the brownies will surely be a delight for everyone who enjoys them.

 Ingredients: 60 g dark chocolate, 125 g butter, 250 g granulated sugar, 2 eggs, 125 g flour, a pinch of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla (I used a packet of vanillin), white chocolate for decoration (I used powdered sugar mixed with lemon juice until it reached the necessary consistency to decorate the cake)
