Preparation method: We start by preparing all the necessary ingredients. In a large frying pan, add a generous amount of olive oil or sunflower oil, depending on your preference. Turn the heat to medium and let the oil heat up. Once the oil is hot, add the finely chopped onion. Sautéing the onion is essential, as it will add a sweet and pleasant flavor to the dish. Stir constantly for about 5-7 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and softens. Immediately after that, add the crushed or finely chopped garlic, continuing to stir for 1-2 minutes until the garlic releases its intense aroma.

Meanwhile, take a colorful bell pepper, preferably red or yellow, and cut it lengthwise, leaving the seeds, to maintain a bit of bitterness that will balance the sweetness of the onion. After the garlic has lightly browned, add the sliced pepper to the pan. Mix all the ingredients and let them combine for 3-4 minutes, so the pepper softens but remains crunchy.

After this step, it's time to add the remaining ingredients, such as diced tomatoes or tomato paste, your favorite spices (salt, pepper, paprika, oregano), and possibly other vegetables like carrots or zucchini, finely chopped. Mix well to blend the flavors. Then, add water and cubed beef, stirring everything carefully. Cover the pan with a lid and let the dish simmer over medium heat for 45-60 minutes. It is important to check occasionally, stirring gently to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

Once the meat is tender and juicy, you can taste and adjust the spices to your preference. Finally, serve this delicious dish alongside a portion of plain rice, cooked separately, which will absorb the delicious flavors of the sauce. This combination is not only nutritious but also extremely tasty, perfect for a family meal or with friends.
