Preparation time: 15 minutes
Baking time: 30-35 minutes
Total time: 50 minutes
Servings: 10

Ingredients:

- 6 large eggs
- 140 g sugar
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 125 ml oil
- 1 nut of butter (about 100 g)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 pinch of lemon zest
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 packet baking powder
- 6 squares of Milka chocolate with caramel
- 5 walnuts
- 5 edible chestnuts
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon for dusting at the end

Preparation Instructions:

1. Preparing the Ingredients: Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smooth emulsion.

2. Mixing the Eggs: In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar using a mixer on high speed for 5 minutes. It is important for the mixture to become frothy and double in volume. Add the vanilla essence, oil, and melted butter. Mix gently until the ingredients are well combined.

3. Incorporating Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Begin adding this dry ingredient mixture to the egg composition, one tablespoon at a time, mixing carefully with a hand whisk to avoid lumps.

4. Adding Texture: Cut small cubes of Milka chocolate with caramel, walnuts, and chestnuts. Fold them into the batter gently to avoid destroying their texture.

5. Pouring into the Mold: Carefully pour the mixture into the castle-shaped silicone mold. Make sure the mold is well filled but do not overfill it.

6. Baking: Place the mold in the preheated oven and let it bake for 30-35 minutes. Check if it is ready using the toothpick method: insert a toothpick into the center of the cake; if it comes out clean, it is done.

7. Cooling and Decorating: Once out of the oven, let the cake cool in the mold for 10 minutes, then remove it from the mold and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

8. Final Decoration: Before serving, dust the cake with powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon for an artistic "dusty brick" effect. You can also add cocoa candies shaped like nuts for an extra touch. An interesting variation would be to decorate the cake with wafer towers or colorful flags to give it a festive air.

Serving Suggestions: The Abandoned Castle Cake is delicious both warm and cold. It can be served as an elegant dessert at a fall party or as a treat after a family dinner.

Possible Variations: If you want to experiment, you can replace the chocolate with dried fruits or add a layer of chocolate glaze on top of the cake after it has completely cooled. Also, for an intense fall flavor, you can add spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to the dry ingredient mixture.

Savor every bite of the Abandoned Castle Cake and enjoy the magic of autumn in every slice!
