Pumpkin Muffins
To prepare a delicious cream muffin recipe, we will start by ensuring that all ingredients are at hand. In a large bowl, we will combine all the wet ingredients, excluding the flour, using a mixer. This step is essential to achieve a smooth and creamy mixture. Once we have obtained a homogeneous composition, we will gradually add the flour, continuing to mix until this ingredient is fully integrated. It is important to ensure that the dough is well mixed, without lumps, to achieve a fine texture.
Once the dough is finished, we set it aside to prepare the oven. We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit), so that it is perfectly heated when we put in the muffins. While the oven is preheating, we take care of the muffin tray. We use special muffin papers, which we place in the baking molds, then lightly grease them with oil to prevent sticking. We fill each mold three-quarters full with the prepared dough, being careful to leave enough space to allow the muffins to rise.
After completing all the molds, we place them in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes. It is important to do the toothpick test; if the toothpick comes out clean, then the muffins are baked. We take them out of the oven and transfer them to a rack to cool completely.
While the muffins are cooling, we can prepare the cream. We ensure that the butter and cream cheese are at room temperature so that we can mix them easily. If necessary, we can use the microwave to soften them a bit, but we must be careful not to melt them. In a bowl, we mix the cream cheese with the butter until they become a homogeneous composition. Then, we add the powdered sugar and vanilla essence, continuing to mix to obtain a smooth cream. If desired, we can incorporate pumpkin puree, which will add extra flavor and moisture.
Once the muffins are completely cooled, we can decorate them with the obtained cream. Whether we choose to put the cream on top or to scoop out a small part of the muffins and fill their interior, the options are varied. As a final detail, we can sprinkle a mixture of powdered sugar with cinnamon to add a special taste and aroma. These cream muffins are ideal to be served cold and are perfect to be shared with friends and family on a special occasion or simply as a sweet treat any day.
