Cherry and yogurt cake is a delicious recipe that brings a touch of summer to any season. The cherries can be fresh or frozen, but if you choose the frozen option, make sure to thaw and drain them well before use.

Start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and greasing a baking tray with butter or oil, then dust it with flour to prevent the cake from sticking. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes frothy and light in color. Add the yogurt and oil, mixing well to combine the ingredients. Then, incorporate the vanilla and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.

In another bowl, sift the flour together with the baking powder, then gradually add the dry mixture to the wet one, mixing with a spatula or wooden spoon.
