Chicken meatballs are an excellent choice for a quick, healthy, and delicious lunch or dinner. They are easy to prepare and can be customized to your taste. Here’s how to make them step by step for a perfect result.

Necessary ingredients:
- 500 g boneless chicken breast
- 1 medium carrot
- 1 large potato
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 egg
- 3-4 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- A handful of fresh parsley
- A handful of fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying

Step 1: Preparing the ingredients
Start by chopping the chicken breast. You can use a food processor to achieve a fine texture, but be careful not to turn it into a paste. Then, grate the carrot and potato, making sure to drain them well to avoid a too wet mixture. These vegetables not only add flavor but also moisture to your meatballs.

Step 2: Flavoring
Crush the garlic and finely chop the parsley and dill. These herbs will add extra flavor to the meatballs. In a large bowl, combine the minced chicken, carrot, potato, garlic, and herbs. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, tomato paste, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.

Step 3: Forming the meatballs
With wet hands (to prevent sticking), form equal-sized meatballs, about 3-4 cm in diameter. This size will allow for even and quick cooking. You can slightly flatten them if you prefer crispier meatballs.

Step 4: Frying
Heat a pan with oil over medium heat. Make sure the oil is hot before adding the meatballs, so they get a golden and crispy crust. Fry the meatballs on each side for 3-4 minutes, or until they turn golden. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even frying.

Step 5: Serving
Once the meatballs are ready, place them on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Serve them hot, alongside a fresh salad or with a yogurt and garlic sauce. These chicken meatballs are also perfect for sandwiches or as an appetizer.

Useful tips:
- You can also add other grated vegetables, such as zucchini or onion, for extra flavor.
- If you want a healthier version, you can bake the meatballs in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- These meatballs can be frozen. So, you can prepare a larger batch and keep them for times when you don’t have time to cook.

Chicken meatballs are a versatile dish, perfect for any occasion. Experiment with spices or add feta cheese for a unique touch. This will make your recipe a true hit at the table! Enjoy your meal!
