A salad full of flavors and freshness is the perfect choice for hot summer days when we want to cool off with a light yet nutrient-rich dish. This recipe is not only delicious but also very versatile, allowing you to adapt the ingredients to your personal preferences.

To start, prepare the necessary ingredients: fresh green salad, preferably with frilly leaves, which will add a crunchy texture; three green onions, which will provide a slightly spicy taste; a Fabio cucumber, known for its juiciness; four medium tomatoes, such as Roma variety, excellent for salads; 200 grams of Delaco telemea, a creamy and salty cheese; 200 grams of pressed ham, which will add extra protein; four hard-boiled eggs, the perfect source of energy; 100 grams of black olives, which will bring a distinct flavor; grape oil, salt, vinegar, and optionally, various greens, corn kernels, red bell pepper, pepper, and lemon juice.

The first step is to wash the salad well in several waters to remove any traces of sand or impurities. After it has been well washed, place it to drain on an absorbent towel. Continuing with the vegetables, wash and peel them, then cut them into suitable pieces. The hard-boiled eggs should boil for 10 minutes from the moment you put them on the flame to achieve the desired consistency.

In a large bowl, add the sliced onion, torn green salad, cucumber, and diced tomatoes. The telemea and ham can be sliced thinly or cubed, according to preference, and added to the salad. The boiled, peeled, and chopped eggs will complete the dish, along with the olives that add a dash of flavor.

To give a fresh and vibrant taste, season the salad with salt, pepper, vinegar, and grape oil. Optionally, the lemon juice will add a note of acidity that will balance the flavors. Gently mix all the ingredients to ensure they are well combined.

This salad is perfect to be enjoyed on hot days, offering a mix of flavors and textures. Additionally, the quantities of vegetables can vary according to personal taste, and for an extra splash of color and nutrients, you can add diced bell pepper or corn kernels. If you want a lighter version, you can skip the eggs and cucumber, adapting the dish to your preferences.

The oil used can be of your choice: olive, sunflower, or canola, each having its own benefits. This salad is not only delicious but also a healthy option, packed with vitamins and minerals. Enjoy your meal!
