To prepare a delicious and comforting dish, we start by bringing a large pot of water to a boil, adding a generous tablespoon of salt. This will add a touch of flavor to the pasta, which will become the main ingredient of our recipe. When the water reaches a boiling point, we add our favorite pasta, whether it be spaghetti, fusilli, or penne. We boil according to the instructions on the package, usually between 8 and 12 minutes, until they become al dente.

While the pasta is boiling, we dedicate ourselves to preparing the ingredients. We take a few slices of smoked bacon and cut them into thin strips, julienne style. This will allow the bacon to cook evenly and release its flavors during sautéing. We continue with a medium onion which we peel and finely slice into thin pieces. The zucchini, a versatile ingredient, will add a sweet taste and pleasant texture to our dish, so we also cut it into thin strips.

In a deep skillet, we heat a little olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped bacon. We sauté until the bacon becomes crispy and fragrant, then add the onion and zucchini. We mix everything with a spatula, allowing the ingredients to cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the onion becomes translucent and the zucchini softens slightly.

After achieving this delicious base, we add a little grated cheese, which will provide an unmistakable creaminess, and cream, to bind all the flavors into a velvety sauce. We mix well to combine the ingredients, allowing them to simmer together for a few minutes, so the flavors infuse each other.

When the pasta is ready, we drain it well and add it to the skillet, gently tossing to coat it evenly with the delicious sauce. We let everything simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes, so the pasta absorbs the flavors of the sauce. Finally, we serve the dish hot, plating it and sprinkling a little grated cheese on top, which will melt slightly, adding an extra touch of flavor. This simple yet sophisticated recipe is perfect for a family dinner or to impress friends at a festive meal. Enjoy your meal!
