To prepare the most delicious and fluffy donuts, we start with the mixture of wet ingredients. In a large bowl, we add the egg yolks, salt, sugar, and our favorite flavors, such as vanilla or lemon zest, which will give the donuts an inviting aroma. To enhance the flavor, we can also add a splash of vodka, which helps achieve a light and airy texture. After mixing these ingredients well, we add the warm milk, which will activate the yeast and help the dough rise.

In another bowl, we will combine the flour with the yeast, ensuring that the yeast is well distributed in the flour to avoid lumps. Once we have a homogeneous mixture, we begin to gradually incorporate the wet ingredient mixture into the flour, kneading vigorously. It is important to knead the dough until it becomes elastic and smooth, and at the end, we add the soft butter, which will bring extra flavor and softness. After incorporating all the butter, we form a ball from the dough, cover it with a clean towel, and let it rest for 1 hour - 1 hour and a half in a warm place away from drafts.

After the dough has doubled in volume, it's time to shape it. On a floured surface, we divide the dough into equal pieces, which we shape into different forms, whether we want round donuts, oval ones, or even filled ones. We place the shapes on a floured board and let them rise for another 45 minutes while we prepare to fry the delights.

Meanwhile, in a deep pot, we heat the oil until it reaches the optimal frying temperature. It is important that the oil is hot enough to fry the donuts quickly so that they remain fluffy and do not absorb too much oil. Once the oil is ready, we carefully add the donuts and fry them until they become golden and crispy on the outside.

After frying, we remove the donuts onto an absorbent napkin to remove excess oil. They can be filled with fruit jelly or cream, depending on preferences, or can be served plain, dusted with powdered sugar.
