To prepare a delicious stuffed mushroom recipe, we start by choosing fresh mushrooms, preferably of the champignon or portobello type, which have a rich flavor and pleasant texture. Before using them, it is essential to carefully clean them using a soft brush or a damp cloth to remove any impurities. After they have been cleaned, we wash them well under a stream of cold water. If we notice that the mushrooms are thicker, we can gently hollow them out, removing some of the flesh to create a generous space for the filling.

We continue by separating the caps from the stems, which we will finely chop together with minced meat. Here we can use beef, pork, or a combination of both, depending on our preferences. In a large bowl, we will add the chopped mushroom flesh, minced meat, a handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped, and a few cloves of garlic, which we will finely chop. These ingredients will give the filling an intense and aromatic flavor. We add an egg to bind the mixture, as well as salt and pepper to taste, to enhance the flavors.

Once we have prepared the filling, we turn our attention to the mushroom caps. We generously fill them with the obtained mixture, ensuring they are well filled so that each bite is full of flavors. On top of each mushroom, we place a teaspoon of tomato sauce, which will add a layer of juiciness and a slightly sweet-sour taste. Next, we sprinkle grated parmesan cheese or cheese on top, depending on personal preferences, and a pinch of oregano, which will provide a delicious Mediterranean note.

For an extra burst of flavor, we add a tablespoon of olive oil on each mushroom, which will help them brown during baking. We place the stuffed mushrooms in a baking dish that we have previously greased with a little oil or butter to prevent sticking. We preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and insert the dish. After about 20-30 minutes, the mushrooms will be browned, and the cheese on top will melt and form a golden crust. These stuffed mushrooms are ideal as an appetizer or as a main dish, served alongside a fresh salad. Enjoy them warm to fully appreciate their flavors and textures.
