Fried Cheese Filled
To prepare a delicious cheese rice, we start by selecting the right ingredients. Rice is a versatile and nutritious food, and the combination with cheese is always tasty. We begin by washing the rice under a stream of cold water, taking care to remove any impurities and excess starch. Once the rice is clean, we drain it well, then turn our attention to the pan in which we will fry the rice.
In a deep pan, we melt 50 grams of butter over medium heat. When the butter is completely melted and releases its aroma, we add the rice. We fry the rice, stirring constantly, until the grains become translucent and acquire a pearly white hue. This step is essential to add a note of flavor. Once the rice is fried, we measure one cup of water, exactly the same amount used to measure the rice. Thus, we add two cups of water to the pan. We season with salt and pepper to taste, stirring well to distribute the spices evenly.
We cover the pan with a lid and let the rice simmer on low heat, being careful not to lift the lid too often, so as not to affect the cooking process. When the water has completely evaporated and the rice is tender, it's time to deal with the cheese. We grate the cheese on a fine grater, so that we obtain thin flakes that will melt more easily.
In a non-stick pan, we bring it to medium heat, then sprinkle an even layer of grated cheese, covering the bottom of the pan. We let it melt and become golden, being careful not to burn it. After the cheese has started to melt, we add the half-cooked rice on top of the melted cheese layer. Over the rice, we sprinkle the remaining cheese, forming a kind of cheese and rice sandwich.
With the help of a spatula, we fold the melted cheese over the filling, forming a delicious rice omelet. Then, carefully, we flip the dish onto a plate. Here, the cheese will settle nicely, forming a golden and appetizing crust. Serve the dish warm, alongside a fresh salad or grilled vegetables. This simple and quick recipe will bring joy to your table. Enjoy your meal!
