Layer 1: We start preparing this delicious dessert by making sure we have all the ingredients at hand. The 5 eggs are placed in a large bowl, where we will add 7 tablespoons of powdered sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar. Using a mixer, we will blend these ingredients for about 1 minute at high speed until we obtain a homogeneous and fluffy foam. Then, we add 3 tablespoons of cocoa, continuing to mix for a few seconds until the cocoa is perfectly integrated into the mixture without leaving lumps.

In another container, we put 50 ml of water and add 1 1/2 packets of gelatin, letting it sit for 2 minutes to hydrate. Then, we gently heat the gelatin until it completely dissolves. This will be added to the egg and cocoa mixture, mixing again for a few seconds to ensure the ingredients are well integrated. The obtained mixture is poured into a loaf pan (or a round mold), which has been previously lined with plastic wrap to facilitate the later removal of the dessert. It is important to let the mold cool until the mixture is completely set, checking from time to time to see if it no longer sticks to the fingers.

Layer 2: After the first layer is well set, we turn our attention to the second. In a large bowl, we mix 900 ml of cream with 12 tablespoons of powdered sugar, using the mixer to achieve an airy consistency. Then, we proceed in the same way as for the first layer, preparing 2 packets of gelatin in water according to the instructions at the beginning. The dissolved gelatin is added to the sweetened cream, mixing until homogeneous. Now, it's time to add the slices of strawberries or other seasonal fruits for an extra freshness. The mixture is evenly divided between the two molds, pouring half of the mixture into each mold. It is left to cool again to set well.

Layer 3: After the cream layer has set, it's time to take care of the last layer. We use again the 5 eggs, 7 tablespoons of powdered sugar, and a packet of vanilla sugar, mixing for 1 minute at high speed. We add the 3 tablespoons of cocoa, stirring until everything is well integrated. We prepare the gelatin as we did before, dissolving 1 1/2 packets in water, and add it to the egg and cocoa mixture, mixing again to achieve a homogeneous composition. This last layer is carefully poured over the already set cream layer, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

We finish by placing the molds in the fridge, where we let them set completely for a few hours. This layered dessert not only looks spectacular, but its taste will surely impress anyone who savors it!

Ingredients

Layer 1: 10 eggs, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, 14 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 6 heaping tablespoons of cocoa, 100 ml of cold water, 3 packets of fine gelatin. Layer 2: 900 ml of cream, 12 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 2 packets of fine gelatin, 100 ml of cold water, 400 g of strawberries (or other sliced fruits).
