Desert - Kinder Cake by Ina M. - Recipia
To create a delicious and visually appealing dessert, we start by preparing the baking tray. We grease a tray with margarine or alternatively use wax paper to prevent the layers from sticking. We carefully place the pieces of walnuts, which we previously roasted slightly in the oven to enhance their flavor, cut with a sharp knife. These will form a crunchy and savory layer at the base of our cake.

After placing the walnuts, we gently pour the cake batter over them. It is important to ensure that the batter is evenly distributed in the tray. Once we finish this step, we put the tray in the oven. We make sure that the temperature is right and monitor the cake, checking it from time to time. It is ready when the batter pulls away easily from the edges of the tray and takes on a delicious golden color.

After the cake has cooled completely, we move on to preparing the cream. We spread a generous layer of Finetti cream over the cake, which will add a rich chocolate note and perfectly blend the flavors. Now, we focus on our main cream. In a saucepan, we combine the necessary ingredients and cook them over medium heat, stirring constantly until we achieve a thick consistency. Once the cream reaches the desired consistency, we let it cool slightly.

We divide the cream into two equal parts. In one of them, we add lemon essence, mixing well to incorporate the fresh flavor. This yellow cream will be spread evenly over the layer coated with Finetti. In the other half of the cream, we add cocoa, to taste, and ground walnuts to give it an intense flavor and pleasant texture.

Next, we take care of the biscuits. A large pack of Petit Beurre biscuits is finely crushed and mixed with milk until we obtain a semi-consistent paste that is easy to spread. This will form a delicious and creamy layer in our cake.

For assembly, we prepare to create a dessert with harmonious layers. We place the base, followed by a thin layer of Finetti cream, then add the yellow cream, followed by the brown cream with cocoa and walnuts. On top, we spread the biscuit paste and finally cover everything with a generous layer of whipped cream, about two fingers thick.

It is ideal to assemble the dessert in a rectangular dish, which will facilitate the creation of layers and make the presentation pleasant. We let the cake sit in the fridge for a while before slicing it, to allow the ingredients to blend perfectly and achieve a perfect taste. This dessert is perfect for any occasion, being not only delicious but also spectacular!
