Homemade Chocolate
To prepare a delicious homemade chocolate, we start by gathering the necessary ingredients. We need 150 ml of water, 500 g of sugar, 100 g of Rama margarine, 200 g of milk powder, and 50 g of cocoa. If we want to add a touch of extra flavor, we can include nuts, hazelnuts, or raisins, depending on personal preferences.
The first step is to put the 150 ml of water in a saucepan over medium heat. Gradually add the 500 g of sugar, stirring constantly to ensure that the sugar dissolves evenly. Continue to boil the mixture for 4 minutes. At this stage, the syrup will start to gain a slightly thicker consistency, which is perfect for our chocolate.
After 4 minutes, add the 100 g of Rama margarine to the hot syrup, stirring continuously until the margarine completely melts. It is essential to ensure that the mixture is well homogenized so that the chocolate has a smooth and creamy texture. Once the margarine has melted, remove the saucepan from the heat.
In another bowl, sift the 200 g of milk powder together with the 50 g of cocoa. This step is crucial because sifting helps to eliminate any lumps, ensuring that our chocolate will be velvety. Then, pour the milk powder and cocoa mixture into the warm syrup, mixing well with a spatula or whisk to obtain a uniform composition.
After achieving a homogeneous paste, grease a mold with margarine or oil to prevent the chocolate from sticking. Carefully pour the resulting chocolate into the prepared mold. If desired, now is the time to add the nuts, hazelnuts, or raisins to the mixture, to add a crunchy and flavorful note.
Once we have poured the mixture into the mold, use a wet knife to portion the chocolate, making it easier to cut later. Let the chocolate cool at room temperature for 20 minutes. After this time, the chocolate is ready to serve and can be enjoyed with loved ones. This simple and quick recipe will surely become a favorite among friends and family, providing an unforgettable sweet experience.
