To make a delicious banana and whipped cream cake, we need to start by preparing the coffee. We take a cup of water and bring it to a boil. Once the water starts to boil, we add the ground coffee, stir well, and let it brew for a few minutes, after which we strain the liquid to obtain clean coffee. We add sugar to taste, mixing it well until it completely dissolves. After we have obtained the sweet coffee, we let it cool completely so as not to affect the texture of the ladyfingers.

Meanwhile, we take care of the whipped cream. We take 300 ml of whipping cream and put it in a bowl. Using a mixer, we start whipping the cream at medium speed until it becomes fluffy and holds its shape. It is important not to overwhip it, otherwise, it risks turning into butter.

In parallel, we take some ripe bananas, peel them, and cut them into slices, placing them in a bowl. Using a fork, we mash them well until we get a fine puree. If you prefer an even finer texture, you can use a hand mixer to achieve the perfect consistency. Once the banana puree is ready, we mix it with the whipped cream, gently folding with a spatula to keep the air in the cream.

Now that all components are ready, we start assembling the cake. We choose a round or rectangular platter, depending on preference, and begin by placing a first layer of ladyfingers. These should be quickly dipped in the cooled coffee so they absorb the flavor but do not become too soft. We place half of the banana and whipped cream mixture over the first layer of ladyfingers, spreading it evenly.

We continue with another layer of ladyfingers, followed by the remaining cream, and then a final layer of ladyfingers. Finally, the cake is covered with the remaining 200 ml of whipped cream, which we carefully spread over the entire surface.

To finish the cake's appearance, we can decorate it with slices of kiwi, strawberries, or other favorite fruits, adding a touch of freshness and color. We leave the cake in the fridge for a few hours so that the flavors combine perfectly. When ready to serve, cut it with a sharp knife and enjoy each slice with your loved ones! The banana and whipped cream cake will surely become a beloved delicacy on any occasion.

Ingredients: 600 g ladyfingers (for three layers) 1.700 kg bananas 500 ml whipped cream (300 ml for the mixture and 200 ml for decoration) 2 kiwis for decoration 4 tablespoons coffee 1 l water sugar to taste (added to the coffee used to soak the ladyfingers)
