The potato, a versatile and beloved ingredient, is carefully peeled, making sure not to lose any of its delicious flesh. Using a specialized tool, we achieve very thin slices that are as long and uniform as possible to ensure even cooking. These slices will become the base for a refined appetizer, perfect for impressing guests.

While we handle the potatoes, we preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius. This step is essential, as the right temperature will ensure optimal cooking of the ingredients, giving them a crispy texture and delicious flavor.

Next comes an important moment: we butter the compartments of the muffin tin. This step will not only help the dish not to stick, but will also add a touch of flavor. Once finished, we begin to line each compartment with potato slices, carefully arranging them so that the entire surface is evenly covered.

Once the base is prepared, we turn our attention to the cheese, which adds irresistible creaminess. A layer of about 0.5 cm is spread on the bottom of each compartment, ensuring it will melt beautifully during baking. Over the cheese, we add very thinly sliced mushrooms, which will provide an umami flavor to the dish. To enhance the flavors, we sprinkle a mix of white, green, and black pepper, along with a little paprika, according to our preferences.

We then move on to an ingredient that brings a note of freshness: peas. We place a few of these over the mushrooms in each compartment, and to finish the dish, we add a fresh egg to each portion. A small sprinkle of salt and another splash of the pepper and paprika mix on top will add extra flavor.

Now, with the tray ready, we carefully place it in the preheated oven. For about 15 minutes, the ingredients will transform, and the flavors will combine to create a special dish. When the time is up, we ensure that the eggs are cooked and the potatoes have achieved a golden and crispy texture. Finally, we take the tray out of the oven and let it cool slightly before savoring this unique delight.
