To prepare a delicious and colorful bread, we will start by creating a basic dough. In a large bowl, we combine 500 g of white flour, 10 g of salt, 10 g of sugar, and 7 g of dry yeast. We gradually add 300 ml of lukewarm water and 30 ml of olive oil, mixing well with a spatula or by hand. When the dough becomes homogeneous, we knead it for 10 minutes until it becomes elastic and smooth. After achieving the desired consistency, we place the dough in a bowl greased with a little oil, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise at room temperature for about an hour, until it doubles in volume.

Meanwhile, we will prepare the other types of dough. The procedure is similar for each colored bread. For the yellow bread, we add 1 tablespoon of turmeric to the basic dough, mixing well. Likewise, for the red bread, we incorporate 2 tablespoons of beet juice, and for the green bread, we use 2 tablespoons of cooked and pureed spinach. The black bread will be obtained by adding 50 g of cocoa or rye flour. Each dough will be left to rise in the same way, covered, for one hour.

After all the doughs have risen, we will roll them out on a floured work surface. Each dough is rolled into sheets about 1 cm thick. Then, we take the black dough and brush it with a little water to help the other layers adhere. We place the green dough on top, brush again with water, and continue with the other colors, being careful to overlap them evenly.

After we have built a colorful "cake" from the doughs, we cut it into three equal parts. Each portion is twisted, forming beautiful rolls. We place these rolls on parchment paper, being careful not to tighten them too much, and twist the ends to create a nice appearance. We place the three rolls in the baking tray and let them rise for another 15 minutes in a warm place. Finally, we want to enjoy a special aroma, so we preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. We bake the bread for 20-25 minutes until it becomes golden and has a crispy crust. After it has cooled, we slice it and enjoy a dish that is not only tasty but also extremely attractive, perfect for any meal.
