To prepare the delicious meatballs with aromatic sauce, we start by preparing the necessary ingredients. We place the minced meat in a large bowl, ensuring it is of good quality, to achieve a perfect taste. We add our favorite spices, such as salt, pepper, sweet or hot paprika, depending on everyone's preferences. To this, we also add the eggs, which will help bind the mixture. The crushed garlic and finely chopped vegetables, such as carrots or parsley, will provide an extra flavor and freshness.

We mix all the ingredients well until completely homogeneous. It is important that each ingredient is well distributed in the mixture, to ensure that each meatball will have the desired taste. After obtaining a uniform composition, we cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the filling cool for an hour or two. This step allows the flavors to blend and intensify.

After the time has passed, we form the meatballs using a teaspoon, carefully shaping them between our palms to achieve uniform shapes. We roll them in flour to give them a crispy crust and fry them in a pan with hot oil until they become golden and appetizing. After frying, we remove the meatballs onto a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

In the meantime, we dedicate ourselves to preparing the sauce. We put water in a 2-liter pot and bring it to a boil. We add the spices, peppers, and sliced garlic, continuing to boil for 5 minutes. The fried meatballs are then added to the sauce, and when they rise to the surface, we color everything with tomato juice and paste, adding diced tomatoes as well. We let the dish simmer over medium heat until the sauce becomes thick and rich in flavors. Finally, we sprinkle finely chopped basil, giving a final touch of freshness.

During this time, we can also prepare a salad of roasted peppers, which will add a delicious contrast. We serve the meatballs in sauce alongside the roasted pepper salad and with a slice of dark bread, evoking childhood memories. This combination will bring joy to the table and satisfy the most discerning tastes. Enjoy your meal!

 Ingredients: For meatballs we need: 4 eggs, 1 kg of minced pork, 1 bunch of dill, 1 bunch of parsley, 1 head of garlic, salt and pepper to taste, oil for frying, flour for coating the meatballs. For the sauce we need: 3-4 bay leaves, salt to taste, a mix of pepper (white/red/green), a teaspoon of oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, a pinch of chili, a few cloves of garlic, 100 ml of tomato juice, a tablespoon of tomato paste, 10-15 cherry tomatoes, a red hot pepper, a green hot pepper, 200 ml of still water, fresh basil. Optional, for serving: roasted pepper salad.
