Sunrise Cake (No Fire)
We start by preparing the cheese, which will form the base of our delicious recipe. It is recommended to mash it to achieve a fine and uniform texture, but if you are short on patience or do not have a blender at hand, you can use it as it is. In a large bowl, mix the cheese with the powdered sugar, the 3 egg yolks, and 140 g of Rama or butter, depending on your preference. This mixture will provide a creamy and rich base for our little cake.
In another bowl, whip the 250 ml of cream until it starts to thicken, then add a tablespoon of sour cream. This will help stabilize the whipped cream, so there is no need for a stabilizer. Continue mixing until the cream becomes firm, but be careful not to overbeat it, as you risk turning it into butter.
Once the cream is ready, gently fold it into the cheese mixture using a spatula in circular motions to maintain the air in the whipped cream and achieve a fluffy texture. In a small cup, put 100 ml of water and add the 2 packets of gelatin, letting them soften. After that, gently heat the gelatin (without letting it boil!), then incorporate it into the cheese cream. If desired, now is the ideal time to add chocolate sticks or raisins, depending on personal preferences.
Transfer the mixture into the previously prepared cake mold lined with plastic wrap, making sure to distribute the composition evenly. Prepare the plums by cutting them in half and then each half into two lengthwise, so you get elegant slices that will decorate the little cake. Arrange the plum slices on the surface of the cake, arranging them nicely.
Next, prepare the gelatin according to the instructions on the package and carefully pour it over the arranged plums on the cake. It is recommended to use clear gelatin in the middle and red gelatin on the edges to create an attractive visual effect.
After you are done, place the little cake in the refrigerator for a few hours, but ideally, you should leave it overnight for all the flavors to set. When ready, remove the cake from the mold, cut it into slices, and serve it with joy. This delicacy will surely be appreciated by everyone who tastes it. Enjoy your meal!
