Let's not hesitate and get started on the preparation! This is a simple yet extremely versatile recipe that will surely impress anyone. I assure you it won't be difficult to make, and the result will be worth the effort. Let's see how we can enjoy a refreshing and colorful dessert.

We start by cutting the melons in half. Personally, I used a tool that leaves zig-zag marks, which makes the presentation even more attractive. After cutting the melons, we take a small spoon and scoop out the flesh from each half. Although it would have been ideal to have a melon baller, I managed without it. We place the scooped flesh in a bowl and keep it chilled. Then, we take care of the kiwi, which we carefully peel and scoop out, just like the melon. We do the same with the watermelon, adding the fruit flesh to the same bowl. It's important that all these ingredients feel good together, so we let them chill as well.

The melon rinds, an essential part of our dish, can also be placed in the fridge until we are ready with the sauce. It’s a simple task, taking only 10 minutes, which is worth every second. Now, let’s move on to preparing the delicious sauce that will add extra flavor to our dish. I start by grating the peel of a fresh lemon, which will provide a fresh taste. After that, we squeeze the lemon until the last drop, to obtain all the aromatic juice. We place the zest and juice in a bowl, where we add 2 large tablespoons of sour cream (or yogurt, if you prefer a lighter version). We mix the ingredients well until they become homogeneous, then add 3 tablespoons of honey. If you want the sauce sweeter, feel free to add more honey. We continue to mix the sauce for a minute until the honey is completely incorporated.

Here we are, almost at the end! We take the melon rinds and the fruit flesh out of the fridge. In each half rind, we carefully arrange the mixed flesh, ensuring that each portion looks attractive. Once we are done arranging, we generously drizzle our sweet and sour sauce. If the guests haven’t arrived yet, we can keep everything chilled to ensure the dessert remains fresh and refreshing until served. I wish you good appetite! This recipe will not only delight your taste buds but will also bring a splash of color to your table!
