Sicilian Pancakes

It is important that the batter is lump-free, so do not hesitate to mix well.
After you have obtained the batter, let it rest for about 30 minutes. This step is essential because it allows the gluten to relax, which will lead to fluffier pancakes that are easier to flip in the pan. During this time, you can prepare the ingredients for decoration and serving.
In a non-stick skillet, add a little oil and heat it over medium heat. Use a ladle to pour the batter into the skillet, spreading it evenly so that you get pancakes as thin as possible. Fry each pancake for 1-2 minutes on each side or until they become golden and slightly crispy at the edges. After you have finished frying all the pancakes, remove them to a platter and, while they are still warm, roll them up and cut them into rounds.
Place the rounds of pancakes on a plate, forming a small flower shape that will look very appetizing. Now, let’s move on to the decoration: in the center of the pancake flower, place a generous spoonful of Finetti, which, being kept close to the stove, will be soft and easy to spread. Around the edge of the plate, add a layer of fresh whipped cream, which will provide a delicious contrast to the chocolate in the center.
To complete this dessert, slice some strawberries thinly and artistically arrange them over the whipped cream. They not only provide a fresh taste but also a touch of vibrant color. Finally, sprinkle some roasted and ground nuts in the center for an extra crunch and flavor.
