Cheese Appetizer Cake
Cream cheese with paprika is a simple yet flavorful recipe that can add an extra taste to any meal. Start by mixing the melted cheese with paprika or sweet pepper, using a fork to mash it if you choose cheese triangles. It is important to achieve a smooth and creamy composition that will serve as the base for your dish. Once you have reached the desired consistency, set the cream aside and prepare the next part of the recipe.
For the broccoli cream, start by whipping the butter to achieve an airy texture. Then, add cooked broccoli and a boiled egg, mixing everything together. Continuing to mix, incorporate the whipped butter, then season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and a few drops of lemon juice to enhance the flavors. Set this cream aside, as it will be a delicious layer in the final assembly.
For the cheese cream with apples, mix milk, sour cream, eggs, grated cheese, and flour in a bowl. Cook in a double boiler for about 20 minutes over low heat, stirring continuously with a whisk to avoid lumps. When the mixture becomes thick and creamy, let it cool. Once cooled, add the whipped butter, apple slices, and pineapple cubes, blending well.
To add a special element to the cheese cream, hydrate the gelatin in cold pineapple juice for about 10 minutes. Then, gently heat the gelatin until it melts, being careful not to boil it. Incorporate the gelatin into the cheese cream and let it wait for assembly.
Starting the assembly, line a tray with plastic wrap, ensuring it overhangs the edges of the tray. Place 5 slices of cheese next to each other to form a solid base. Cover with half of the cheese cream with apples, then place another 5 slices of cheese. Next is the cream cheese with paprika, which you sprinkle with half of the nuts and drizzle with pineapple juice. Place another 5 slices of cheese, followed by the broccoli cream, the remaining cheese cream with apples, the remaining nuts, and the pineapple juice.
Cover everything with the last 5 slices of cheese. Place a heavier wooden board on top and refrigerate for a few hours to allow the layers to settle and firm up. Once the dish is well set, it’s time to decorate it.
Garnish with melted cheese mixed with sour cream and herbs, sprinkle with grated cheese, add slices of green olives stuffed with red pepper, and finish with a bit of finely chopped parsley. Serve sliced and enjoy this delicious dish that will surely impress everyone present!
