Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
Servings: 2

Discover the authentic flavors of Italian cuisine with this Spaghetti Bolognese recipe, a savory dish that perfectly combines the rich flavors of the sauce with the texture of the pasta. This dish is easy to make and offers a delicious meal for a romantic dinner or a comforting lunch.

Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 160 g spaghetti (80 g/person is the ideal portion)
- 250 g minced meat (a combination of pork and beef for a richer taste)
- 1/2 can of diced tomatoes in their own juice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 glass of white wine (or red, depending on your preference)
- Fresh basil (or dried)
- Dried oregano
- Fresh rosemary (or dried)
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

1. Start by preparing all the ingredients. Finely chop the onion and garlic and measure the spices. This will make your cooking process easier and help you stay organized.

2. In a deep pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until it becomes translucent and soft. This will form the aromatic base of your sauce.

3. Add the minced meat to the pan. Use a spatula to break it into small pieces. Cook until the meat turns golden and all the water has evaporated, about 8-10 minutes. It’s essential to let the meat brown well to develop the flavors.

4. Once the meat is well cooked, add the chopped garlic and wine. Stir vigorously to combine the ingredients and let the wine evaporate, which will intensify the flavors.

5. After the wine has evaporated, add the diced tomatoes in their own juice and a cup of water. Season with salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and rosemary. These spices will add depth and flavor to your sauce.

6. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. This cooking time will allow the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken.

7. While the sauce is cooking, put a large pot of salted water on the heat and bring to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions, usually between 8-12 minutes, until al dente.

8. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it directly to the pan with the Bolognese sauce. Mix well to coat the pasta evenly with the delicious sauce.

9. Serve Spaghetti Bolognese on deep plates, garnishing with fresh basil leaves if desired. You can also add grated parmesan for extra flavor.

Practical tips:
- You can experiment with different types of meat, such as turkey or chicken, for a lighter option.
- If you want a creamier sauce, add a tablespoon of cream at the end.
- For a vegetarian version, replace the meat with mushrooms or lentils, adjusting the spices to taste.

This Spaghetti Bolognese recipe is not only simple but also full of tradition, bringing a touch of Italy to your kitchen. Enjoy every bite!
