Oven-Baked Salmon - Danieluta
To prepare a culinary delight with salmon fillet, we start by ensuring that all the ingredients are prepared and within reach. The first step is to preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) to ensure we have an optimal cooking temperature.
In a dish, we generously sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the salmon fillet, making sure that every side is well seasoned. Salmon is a delicate fish, and the spices will highlight its natural flavors. We place the salmon fillet in a baking dish, taking care to position it skin-side down.
We add a few cloves of garlic, peeled and left whole, to the dish to release their aroma during baking. We pour in a cup of water to maintain moisture, as well as a cup of dry white wine, which will give a refined taste and enrich the sauce.
To add a touch of freshness, we sprinkle a handful of freshly chopped parsley on top, along with a few finely chopped green onions. These ingredients will not only enhance the flavor but also bring vibrant color to the dish.
Olive oil is the next addition, serving to give juiciness to the fish. A drizzle of high-quality olive oil will enhance the flavors and help form a delicious crust.
For an extra burst of flavor, we place a few thin slices of lemon on top, which will add a note of acidity and freshness. Additionally, a few halved cherry tomatoes will bring a contrast of sweetness and color.
Once all the ingredients are arranged in the dish, we place the dish in the preheated oven. We bake the salmon for 30 minutes, but we don’t forget to tend to it during the process. Occasionally, using a spoon, we pour the juices formed in the dish over the salmon fillet to keep it moist and intensify the flavors.
If the salmon fillet is larger, it is recommended to cut it into two pieces to cool faster and serve more easily. Finally, we place the salmon on a plate, along with the tomatoes and lemons, for an appetizing appearance.
This dish is served warm, alongside a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad. Enjoy your meal!
