Meat - Graham Bread by Ecaterina K. - Recipia
I started the culinary adventure with the essential ingredients to prepare a delicious bread, perfect for any meal. We begin by adding water to the bread machine, ensuring it is at room temperature to activate the yeast. The next ingredient we add is oil, which will give the bread a soft and fluffy texture.

In a separate bowl, we combine the flour with sugar and salt. This combination will not only enhance the flavor but also help achieve a finer texture. Once mixed, we pour the flour over the liquids in the bread machine, making sure to completely cover the water and oil. The last step is to add the packet of yeast on top of the flour without mixing it, so the yeast activates correctly during kneading.

The program I use lasts about an hour and a half, during which the dough will transform into an elastic and fluffy mass. After the bread machine completes the program, we open the lid and carefully remove the dough. On the work surface, which we have greased with a little oil to prevent sticking, we roll out the dough with a rolling pin. It is important to achieve an even sheet of medium thickness to ensure the bread will bake evenly.

After rolling out the sheet, we gently roll it up, being careful not to crush it, and place it in the prepared pan, which we have lined with parchment paper. This will prevent the bread from sticking to the pan and will help us remove it more easily after baking. Before putting it in the oven, we score the dough with a knife, making a few light cuts on its surface. These cuts will not only provide a nice appearance but will also allow steam to escape during baking.

We let the bread rise a little more before putting it in the oven, which will further improve the texture and volume. We preheat the oven to 230 degrees Celsius and, once the temperature is reached, we place the pan with the dough inside. We bake for 20 minutes, but it is important to check periodically, as each oven works differently. When the bread develops a golden crust and a tempting aroma fills the kitchen, we can be sure it is ready.

After taking the bread out of the oven, we let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a cooling rack. We cover the bread with a kitchen towel, which will retain moisture and contribute to achieving a softer crust. So, after a few moments of patience, we can enjoy warm, freshly baked bread, perfect to be served with butter, jam, or as a companion for soups and salads. This recipe not only brings a touch of joy to every meal but also a special satisfaction of savoring homemade bread.
