To prepare a tasty and comforting meal, we start by taking care of the meat we will use. Choose beef or pork, depending on personal preferences, cut into suitable cubes. Place the meat in a pressure cooker, adding a pinch of salt, a finely chopped onion, and a bay leaf, which will add extra flavor. Put the lid on the pot and boil for about 30 minutes until the meat becomes tender and juicy.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, heat a few tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Add crushed garlic, which will release its intense flavors, and sauté for a minute, being careful not to burn it. Once the garlic turns golden, add tomato paste and tomato juice. Mix the ingredients well and let it simmer for a few minutes so that the flavors combine harmoniously.

When the meat is ready, remove it from the pressure cooker, letting the excess juice drain. Add the meat to the saucepan with the tomato sauce, pouring in the juice in which the meat was cooked, just enough to cover it completely. Now is the perfect time to add the spices: a teaspoon of thyme, a teaspoon of sweet paprika, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients well so that the flavors intertwine.

After you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, transfer the saucepan to the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Let the dish bake for 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens and the meat absorbs the delicious flavors.

Serve the dish warm, alongside a portion of steaming polenta, creamy mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad that will add a pleasant contrast.
