This recipe is ideal for moments when you want to indulge in a light and comforting dessert, perfect both warm and cold. Let's embark together on the preparation of this delicious pie, which will surely become a family favorite!

Preparation time
- Preparation time: 30 minutes
- Baking time: 45-50 minutes
- Total time: 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Servings: 12

Ingredients
For the filling:
- 1 kg of full-fat yogurt (preferably creamier, not thin)
- 10 eggs
- 300 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 150-200 g raisins (you can also use other dried fruits like cranberries or apricots)

For the dough:
- ½ cube of fresh yeast (or one packet of dry yeast)
- 2-3 tablespoons of oil
- Flour (as needed)
- A teaspoon of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- Warm water (about 200 ml)

For finishing:
- Small cubes of butter
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt (set aside from the total amount)
- 2 eggs for glazing
- Powdered sugar for decoration

Step by step – Your guide to a perfect pie

1. Preparing the filling:
In a large bowl, beat the 10 eggs with 300 g of sugar until you obtain a homogeneous and fluffy mixture. Add the yogurt (don’t forget to set aside the 2 tablespoons for glazing) and the vanilla sugar. Incorporate the raisins, mixing well to distribute them evenly throughout the mixture. Set the mixture aside and prepare the dough.

2. Preparing the dough:
In a 250 ml cup, combine the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix well until the yeast becomes a paste. Add warm water, leaving a little space in the cup. Pour the yeast mixture into a large bowl. Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil and the remaining sugar. Start adding flour gradually, mixing continuously until you obtain a firm dough. There is no need to let the dough rise, so you can proceed directly to the next step.

3. Forming the sheets:
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. On a floured surface, roll out each portion of dough into a thin sheet. Make sure the first sheet is large enough to extend beyond the pan to prevent sticking.

4. Assembling the pie:
Grease a baking dish with butter or margarine. Place the first sheet in the dish, letting the edges hang over. Pour a third of the filling mixture over the sheet, then add another sheet of dough and repeat the process, alternating between sheets and filling. The last sheet will be plain, without filling, and you can fold the edges of the first sheet over it.

5. Finishing:
On top of the last sheet, place small cubes of butter to achieve a golden and delicious crust. Mix the reserved yogurt with the 2 eggs and pour evenly over the pie.

6. Baking:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the dish in the oven and bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until golden and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Serving:
After removing the pie from the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and let it cool. It is delicious both warm and cold, but once it cools, the yogurt will blend perfectly with the other ingredients, creating a wonderful texture.

Practical tips
- Choose a quality yogurt, as it will influence the texture and taste of the pie.
- If you prefer a stronger flavor, you can add lemon or orange zest to the filling mixture.
- Raisins can be soaked in rum or warm water before being added for an extra flavor boost.

Nutritional benefits
This yogurt pie is rich in protein from the eggs and yogurt, making it a good choice for a healthier dessert. Yogurt contains probiotics, which support digestive health. Raisins provide fiber and antioxidants, contributing to a balanced lifestyle.

FILLING COMPOSITION 8 eggs are beaten with 300 g of sugar, then yogurt is added (from which we reserve 2 tablespoons), raisins, and vanilla sugar. DOUGH In a 250 ml cup, put: yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and a little salt, mix and add lukewarm water (not full, just enough to leave about a finger's width empty). In the bowl where the dough is kneaded, pour in the yeast mixture, add 2-3 tablespoons of oil, 3 teaspoons of sugar, and enough flour to form a dough, and knead. Do not let it rise. The obtained dough is divided into 4 pieces, resulting in 4 sheets. Grease the baking tray with butter or margarine. Roll out one sheet (for the first sheet, the edges should hang over the tray to prevent the yogurt from sticking to the tray) over which we pour some of the filling, then another sheet, more filling, and the last sheet. Now we can fold the edges of the first sheet over the last sheet, and no filling is placed on top of the last sheet. Small cubes of butter are placed on top. From the yogurt, we reserve 2 tablespoons and mix it with 2 eggs. We place the tray in the oven, and when it is slightly browned, we pour the 2 eggs over the entire surface. After taking it out of the oven, we sprinkle powdered sugar and let it cool. It is excellent cold!
