If you are looking for a cake recipe that impresses with its taste and texture, this nut cake is the perfect choice! Delicate, moist, and with a rich flavor of cocoa and nuts, this quick dessert will surely become your guests' favorite. Let's see together how you can prepare it step by step!

Ingredients for the base:
- 10 eggs
- 10 tablespoons of sugar
- 8 tablespoons of flour
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa
- 6 tablespoons of ground walnuts

Ingredients for the cream:
- 500 ml milk
- 2 packets of vanilla pudding powder
- 8 tablespoons of sugar
- 200 g cooking chocolate
- 1 essence of rum
- 500 ml liquid cream
- 50 g ground walnuts

Preparing the base:
1. Start by preheating the oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking tray (about 30x40 cm) by lining it with baking paper.
2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes frothy and doubles in volume. This step is essential for obtaining a fluffy base, so don’t rush!
3. Gradually add the sifted flour, cocoa, and ground walnuts. Gently mix with a silicone spatula, using circular motions to keep the air in the mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and level the surface. Bake at the preheated temperature for 30-40 minutes, until the base is firm to the touch. You can check if it’s baked by inserting a toothpick in the middle; if it comes out clean, the base is ready.
5. Let the base cool completely, then cut it into three equal layers.

Preparing the cream:
1. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil, then reduce the heat. Mix the pudding powder with the sugar and gradually add it to the milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
2. After the mixture thickens, add the broken cooking chocolate and the rum essence. Mix well until the chocolate completely melts. Let it cool.
3. Whip the liquid cream until firm and carefully fold it into the cooled pudding mixture. Add 50 g of ground walnuts for extra texture.

Assembling the cake:
1. Place the first layer of the base on a serving platter and spread some cream evenly on top.
2. Continue with the second layer of the base, followed by another portion of cream. Finish with the last layer of the base.
3. Use the remaining cream to cover the top and sides of the cake. You can decorate with ground walnuts or grated chocolate.

Serving suggestion:
Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for a few hours (ideally overnight) for the flavors to intensify. Serve it with a glass of sweet wine or a cup of flavored coffee and enjoy the compliments from your guests!

Interesting variations:
For a more exotic note, you can add a few slices of banana between the layers of cream or replace the rum essence with almond essence. You can also use dark chocolate or milk chocolate, depending on your preferences.

This nut cake is more than just a simple dessert; it is a culinary experience that will remind you of the beautiful moments spent with loved ones. Enjoy your meal!
