Desert - Buturugi by Constanta A. - Recipia
To create a delicious dessert, we start with the essential ingredients that will transform a simple mixture into a true delight for the taste buds. The first step is to prepare the pudding powder mixture, which will be combined with flour, baking powder, and cocoa. These ingredients need to be well integrated to ensure that the batter will have an even and fluffy texture. In a separate bowl, the softened butter is vigorously creamed with the sugar until the mixture becomes creamy and light in color, indicating that the sugar has dissolved well. It is important to ensure that the butter is at room temperature to achieve an ideal consistency.

Once we have obtained a homogeneous cream, we add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. This step will help incorporate air into the mixture, making the batter fluffier. Once the eggs are fully incorporated, we add the dry mixture of pudding powder, flour, cocoa, and baking powder. We begin to mix gently, so as not to lose the air in the mixture, and finally, we gradually add the milk until we obtain a homogeneous and fluid paste.

For an extra flavor, we do not forget to integrate the vanilla sugar and ground nuts, which will add a special taste and a crunchy texture. We mix again carefully, ensuring that all the ingredients blend perfectly. Next, we prepare the baking tray, which we line with parchment paper to prevent the layers from sticking. We pour the mixture evenly into the tray and level it with a spatula, making sure it is distributed evenly.

Now is the time to place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius, where the batter will bake for about 50 minutes. Once the time is up, we perform the toothpick test; if it comes out clean, the batter is ready. We let it cool slightly, then carefully remove the batter from the tray and let it cool completely on a rack. Once cooled, we use a glass to cut out perfectly proportioned circles.

Finally, to add a special appearance and an unmistakable taste, each circle will be dipped in melted chocolate, covering only the sides, and then rolled in coconut flakes. Thus, we will obtain a cake that is not only delicious but also attractive, perfect to be served at a party or simply to indulge in moments of relaxation.
